June 19, 2004

Scheduled for Saturday, June 19th (rescheduled from last December due to snow) from 10 AM to 4 PM, the House Tour will feature the Ringling Manor, the Jefferson Township Museum, the Milton United Methodist Church, and several private residences of historical and unique interest in the Milton/Oak Ridge section of the township. You will tour the sites at your own pace and enjoy the unique beauty of each, fully decorated with a wedding theme.

Entertainment will include a performance by the Jefferson Township Community Chorus at 9 AM at the Milton United Methodist Church and a performance by the Jefferson Township Community Band at 1 PM on the lawn of the Ringling Manor.

House Tour tickets are priced at $30 per person (over 16 years old please), and include a Continental breakfast at the Milton Methodist Church’s Parish Hall (on the corner of Milton Road and Dover-Milton Road) between 9 and 11 AM, a delicious luncheon at the Milton Methodist Church’s Parish Hall either at an 11:30 AM seating or a 1 PM seating, a Gift Shop, and a tour map. Breakfast, lunch, and an opportunity to tour several historical sites and private homes at your own pace – all for only $30!

If you wish to attend this exciting event, send your check for $30 per ticket payable to Bicentennial House Tour along with your name, address, telephone number, and number of tickets requested to Mrs. Smead, 68 Ridge, Road, Jefferson Township, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438. Indicate lunch seating preference if any, but be aware that most of the remaining seats are now for the earlier luncheon. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis (postmarks will prevail) due to the few that are left. If you need further information or wish to loan the Committee a wedding gown or wedding memorabilia, please call Mrs. Smead at 973-697-1946 to make arrangements.
