Tour of Historical Homes in Milton

Scheduled for Saturday, June 19th (rescheduled from last
December due to snow) from 10 AM to 4 PM, the House Tour
will feature the Ringling Manor, the Jefferson Township Museum,
the Milton United Methodist Church, and several private residences
of historical and unique interest in the Milton/Oak Ridge
section of the township. You will tour the sites at your
own pace and enjoy the unique beauty of each, fully decorated
with a wedding theme.
Entertainment will include a performance by the Jefferson
Township Community Chorus at 9 AM at the Milton United Methodist
Church and a performance by the Jefferson Township Community
Band at 1 PM on the lawn of the Ringling Manor.
House Tour tickets are priced at $30 per person (over 16
years old please), and include a Continental breakfast at
the Milton Methodist Church’s Parish Hall (on the corner
of Milton Road and Dover-Milton Road) between 9 and 11 AM,
a delicious luncheon at the Milton Methodist Church’s
Parish Hall either at an 11:30 AM seating or a 1 PM seating,
a Gift Shop, and a tour map. Breakfast, lunch, and an opportunity
to tour several historical sites and private homes at your
own pace – all for only $30!
If you wish to attend this exciting event, send your check
for $30 per ticket payable to Bicentennial House Tour along
with your name, address, telephone number, and number of
tickets requested to Mrs. Smead, 68 Ridge, Road, Jefferson
Township, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438. Indicate lunch seating preference
if any, but be aware that most of the remaining seats are
now for the earlier luncheon. Tickets will be available on
a first-come, first-served basis (postmarks will prevail)
due to the few that are left. If you need further information
